The Central Hardwood Forest Conference is a biennial meeting dedicated to the sustainability and improvement of the Central Hardwood Forest Ecosystem.

The conference will be held March 12-13, 2024 at the Downtown Hilton in Lexington, KY.

The conference objective is to bring together forest managers and scientists to discuss research and issues, including forest ecology, fire ecology, climate change, emerging technologies, and forest management, all with emphasis on or application to forests within the Central Hardwood Region of the U.S. The 2024 conference will include two days of technical science presentations, including a keynote address and a special panel session on Adaptive Silviculture for Climate Change in the Central Hardwood Region.
